CRANKIES!
With Sandi Baker, Founder of the Midwest,
MidBEST, Cranky Fest

“What’s a Crankie?” A Crankie is a moving panoramic storytelling machine. Artistic scenes are created on a long, horizontal scroll of material that is loaded into a box on one side and cranked through to the other as the story moves through a window in the box. Many Crankies include puppets, live music, and elaborate theatrical effects!

In this immersive experience, Sandi guides participants from start to finish of their crankies and provides an opportunity to share their creations publically at her annual cranky festival!
