A bit about how teaching works at the Wild Arts Learning Center:
Teaching at the Wild Arts Learning Center is a rewarding experience that we cherish. Inviting visiting teachers to bring their knowledge and experience to share is something we take seriously for both the teacher and our community participants. The expectation is that instruction is professional, well-prepared and teachers come with any handout information printed and all necessary materials ready for the class. The studio can provide things like containers, pencils, erasers, etc, items just need to be confirmed prior to the class. Visiting teacher workshops are also how we support the learning center and are able to continue bringing quality learning experiences. As an instructor, you set the price of what you need per student and then we add a 25% studio fee to that. You will want to set your price knowing this so you can make it appropriate to our local audience. Our max is generally 10 participants, but we can accommodate more if appropriate. Note: when we publish your class, we can not guarantee that it will fill. We do our best to promote on the Wild Arts Learning website, Facebook and Instagram platforms, but it will benefit you to also promote your class. If a class has at least three registered participants, we expect it to be held as scheduled. If fewer than three are registered, we do give the instructor the option to reschedule.
