ABOUT WOMEN IN MOTION

The WIM retreats are designed to provide opportunities to explore physical, emotional, spiritual and mental "movement."

Whether we need shifts in our emotional lives, shifts in mental clarity, or spiritual shifts, it's all a matter of self-discovery and learning. What we individually may, or may not, need is a personal endeavor and the WIM retreats provide time and space to explore this.

MEET YOUR HOSTS

Cina Canada

if you had asked me the year prior to our first retreat if I have ever attended or would ever attend a women's retreat, I would have said, "No, I'm not really into those." However, in 2016, while sitting and chatting about ideas with my Wild Arts Learning Co-Founder Bethany Joy, I had this sudden and clear thought pop into my mind, "We should host a movement retreat for women!" So random.

Alas, here we are, going into our fourth annual (after a Covid break) retreat. We've traveled near and far and wow, it's been a wonderful, rewarding, fulfilling, impactful, meaningful experience, I think for us all. My background is in project management, documentary, media production and movement education, all of which have influenced my role in the WIM community. I bring all that I am and all that I know to offer to our retreats. This venture is fueled by purpose and a desire to serve. I could not be more grateful to all who come together to make this special event all that it is. ♥️

Amy Bingham

When asked the question “Who are you?” at a women’s retreat, I gave the normal… mom, friend, here’s my job, blah, blah, blah… answer. It took me 4 days to find the TRUE answer. I am a seer of possibilities! This realization transformed my world! As an artist and visionary, I now live my life guided by this amazing knowledge.

I am the proud owner of It's So Gouda, a charcuterie catering company that goes beyond the ordinary to create edible works of art. My partner and I have cultivated a unique talent for turning simple event tables into extraordinary visual and grazing experiences.

My journey as a seer of possibility also gives me inspiration in refinishing furniture! There's something truly magical about taking discarded items and giving them a new lease on life. It aligns with my belief that beauty and potential can be found in the most unexpected places.

When I’m looking at something or someone, including myself, I know it doesn’t matter where it’s been or what it’s been through. The more important question is… where can it go from here? Oh the possibilities!!

She is a board member of the Garden Club of Rogers and her focus surrounds native gardening, butterfly and caterpillar gardens and edible gardening. She spends time connecting with her family, friends and community members through volunteering, hiking, cooking and events. Haley shares enthusiastic energy whenever she cooks, speaks or serves others.

Lenka Hales

I remember a client asking me some time ago if I would ever consider working on feet! At that time, I was providing clients with the services of beautiful nails and I remember thinking, “Feet”? I didn’t see myself transitioning from hands to feet in my business, but as you know, never say never. A book about the ancient technique of Reflexology was been presented to me and my journey of becoming a certified Reflexologist was born. The power of energy through touch by stimulating the feet has inspired me to go deeper into understanding this ancient technique. The foot is our foundation of stability on this planet and this simple fact has guided me to understand our connection to Mother Earth and to Self. We are the medicine, we just have to create a proper environment from within and allow our energy to flow freely.

Justine has been doing body work for the last 25 years and enjoys helping people address their unique health concerns.  You can expect a luxurious relaxation massage with aromatherapy and a tailored massage to meet your special needs. I base my massages on knowledge of anatomy- Swedish massage, as to each person's needs and desires. I am also a member of AMTA (insured and licensed).
