PAPER
A great way to begin experimenting with leaves to know what prints well and what doesn't, before you dive into your fabrics, is learning on paper. In our workshops, you will learn how to prepare your paper for successful printing and light/color fastness.
FABRIC
Once you've experimented with paper to know what leaves you want to use, you can then move onto fabrics to learn the different ways to prepare them for color and light fastness and how to use natural dyes to enhance your backgrounds and leaves.
FLOWER
IMPRESSIONS
This method is practice on fabrics that have been prepared to hold color. In our workshops, you will have the opportunity to play with this method while waiting for your fabrics and papers to steam.
