3 Day Cedar Bark Basket Workshop

Service Description

This is a 3 day workshop with three weeks between the first day and the last two days. The first day of the workshop is for peeling the bark. The bark must then be rolled up and hung up to dry so it can do most of its shrinkage. Three weeks later, we will meet again with our dried bark and the last two classes will be for processing the bark and making baskets. Martha will have rattlesnake master (Eryngium yuccifolium) and other accent barks available for participants to use in their baskets. Due to the nature of this class and using freshly cut cedar trees, there is limited space available.
