2 Part Workshop: Learn to make earthcolor watercolor paints and then how to use them!
Service Description
In this unique, one-of-a-kind workshop, you will enjoy two learning opportunities in one! In the first part of the evening, you will learn how earth pigments are made and then walk you through how to use those pigments to create your own six-color watercolor palette. You will do this with a variety of earths and a natural plant-based binder using a classic glass plate and muller technique. In the last part of the workshop, you will work with a watercolor teacher (rotating teachers) to learn how to use the paints you've made. You will be amazed at what you can create! You will go home with your set of six watercolor paints, your paintings from the evening, two travel-size brushes and a sketch book.
