KIDS - Wild Arts Thursdays
Fall Semester Program
Service Description
This weekly nature-based arts program is part of the Wild Arts Learning curriculum, created to connect kids to nature through the arts. Activities include botanical printing, natural dyes, wild clay, making natural pigments and paints, weaving with wild materials, papermaking, nature journaling, flower art and more! Within each of these arts endeavors, kids are offered opportunities to connect with the natural world in new ways as they explore using natural materials to express their creativity. The end of the program will culminate in a creative "show" where each student will present all that they've learned and made throughout the program. This program is designed to promote personal discovery and confidence, build new observation skills, instill ideas of conservation and personal responsibility to land and wildlife, and ultimately inspire a sense of connection to the natural world.
